Project Instructor: Mandy Finch

Project Instructor: Mandy Finch

Mandy was raised in Braunstone and it has always been a place close to her heart. By working in the area, Mandy hopes she can make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of all. Mandy has a great hunger for health and fitness. She has gained vast amounts of experience delivering exercise sessions within the local community and at leisure centres. Mandy has taken qualifications and taught in many areas of fitness such as Zumba®, Pound® and Combat. As well as this, Mandy has previously worked in a range of roles looking to tackle health issues through methods such as life coaching, providing nutritional advice and providing participation opportunities.

Activator Apprentice: Kyran Wilcox

Kyran is a local resident who was successful in gaining an apprenticeship with us, where he will be supporting the delivery of sessions across the community alongside the Project Activator's. As part of his apprenticeship, Kyran will also be supporting PE and sports clubs at Queensmead Primary Academy. Kyran enjoys a variety of sports but particularly enjoys football and dodgeball. Kyran is very keen to get people from his community active and is a strong advocate for the benefits that sport and physical activity can have on a person. Being on an apprenticeship gives Kyran a great opportunity to gain qualifications, experience and learn new skills and knowledge, whilst being paid at the same time. All Kyran's training is delivered through the b-inspired apprenticeship scheme. If you would like to know more, please get in touch!
